Amsterdam Embroidery was founded in 2024 by Gigi Volrath, bringing over a decade of expertise in both digital and hand embroidery, as well as fabric manipulation.
After building her career in London — where she worked as a freelancer and designer for leading embroidery studios — Gigi relocated to Amsterdam to open her own studio. Her portfolio includes work for high-profile clients such as Dior, Céline, Alexander McQueen, Disney, the BBC, FKA Twigs, Kylie, and Madonna.
At Amsterdam Embroidery, we take a highly personalised approach to every project, with a strong focus on colour, texture, and detail.
